Waypoint terms

A shared coaching space works when everyone knows the boundaries.

These terms describe the beta service, account responsibilities, trainer relationships, and acceptable use of Waypoint.

Last updated: July 12, 2026

The service

Waypoint provides a shared record for rescue-dog owners and professional trainers. During beta, features may change, be interrupted, or be removed as we learn from participants.

Accounts and invitations

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. Trainer invitations are personal and may be restricted to the intended email address.

Trainer relationship

Trainers and rescue organizations using Waypoint operate independently. Waypoint organizes communication and records but does not certify, supervise, or guarantee a trainer’s services or results.

Not veterinary or emergency care

Waypoint is not veterinary, medical, legal, or emergency advice. Contact a qualified veterinarian or emergency service when a person or animal may be at risk. Do not rely on a Waypoint message for urgent care.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes and images you submit. You give Waypoint permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service according to the Privacy Policy and your consent choices.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate another person, harass participants, or interfere with service operation. Trainers must access client information only for legitimate coaching and workspace administration.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Waypoint or request account deletion. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people, data, the service, or comply with law. We will use reasonable efforts to explain material restrictions when appropriate.

Beta availability

The beta is provided on an as-available basis. We work to protect data and reliability, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or specific training outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
